Wheel-thrown bird feeder in unglazed Almond clay for small songbirds. A simple knot in your rope or wire (inside the feeder) keeps it secure while the other end secures it to a tree. A wire is recommended if you have squirrel visitors.

The video of bird is obviously animated, but accurate for how most birds interact with the feeder. They move from a nearby branch to the edge of the hole. When they feel it’s safe, they go inside, select a sunflower seed and then leave to enjoy their meal. Most species are very quick while others will stay in the feeder for up to a minute. The photo of the bird with the feeder is real.
