Trumpet vase with grooved surface in Eggshell glaze. The grooves are applied with a traditional wooden tool while the piece is freshly thrown and spinning on the potter’s wheel. With this shape, the bottom half, including the grooves, must be finished before the neck is narrowed and top is flared out.
