Recessed Vase in Pebble glaze.

Depending on the flower arrangement, either the narrow opening or a metal pin frog can be used to stabilize the grouping. Without flowers, the scupltural form is a wonderful object on its own.

This piece is an ideal example of the Pebble glaze creating 3 tones: grayish-blue for most of the surface, lighter blue where there are drips and a darker brown color on the rim, where the glaze is the thinnest.

Please note: Because of the recessed top, the last bit water will need to be removed by soaking it up with a sponge or paper towel inside the vase. : )
